This beautiful Amish girl has a loving family and the community's most eligible young man, Jacob (Kellen Boyle), wants to marry her. But she has more on her mind than buggies, bonnets and making her special goat cheese - Emma is secretly obsessed with Jane Austin's Pride and Prejudice and restlessly longs for adventure and travel. When given the opportunity to spend the season helping her widowed cousin Lydia (Meg Wittman) in scenic Charm, OH, Emma jumps at the chance. There she meets an Englischer, librarian Kelly Bennett (Tiffany Dupont), who has come to town to escape her chaotic life. Despite their differences, the two become fast friends. 望向夕阳发呆 说：这部电影不管是风景还是剧情都真的太唯美了，很适合当下的小文青看。影片通过美丽的自然风景演绎了一段关于爱情抉择的温暖故事，让人明白：遵从内心，才可以真的自由，得到自己想要的那个浪漫。遵从我心应该是影片里面所表达的爱的信仰。影片里男主的穿着打扮也有种西部牛仔的感觉，很让人着迷。这是一部温暖的爱情喜剧，不容错过！（这部影片封面是对的，剧照是错的……）（看了这部影片想了解阿米什人的，推荐个纪录片《离开阿米什家园》挺不错的。）
侯麦 说：3.2分吧，对我而言真是一部科普电影，以前从来不知道阿米什人以及他们的生活方式。电影而言，实在没什么亮点，特别是最后的富二代的出现，说教的味道太明显了。崇尚金钱，不尊重别人，自私，急功近利，和男主的朴实，专情，进行强烈的对比。 另外，我以为简奥斯丁的书，普及率很高，特别在英语国家，原来非也。
陈念生 说：真的太契合我这一段时间的心情啦，与众不同，选择，在一个封闭的圈子里，你很难看到外面的什么，有限的见闻会让的见识显得浅薄，要知道，亲眼所见是多么重要啊，你似乎很容易冥想，却又无法踏出，方向是波动式调转，只能凭勇气和毅力前行，很难，抛去情节，每个点都那么启发我。画面里的风景真的美。
