拉莫塔 说：导演应该很喜欢非洲，拍了很多原始风俗，有些还令人发笑，迪尔夫像一个忠诚的星期五，让人惋惜。不错的题材，前半段非洲比重有点过度，后半段对战争创伤的情感渲染始终差点力度，马赛角色的表演可圈可点。战争过后不可能完整的回来，完成不可能之事让人心生敬畏。
吳懌望 说：从历史的角度来看，一战史、殖民史和“咆哮的二十年代”交融在鲜活个体之上，情感真切，故事合理，精神迷离。蒙着面具的西非草原，破碎的战场与家庭，以及神秘的西贡，难怪法国人逐渐疏离爱国心。
Ludovic 刘 说：3.7 制作精良，大老远跑去非洲，duris脏脏的手脚和身板儿看来吃了不少苦。剧本微散，战后创伤的主旨还是从头至尾贯穿的，但个人认为微微缺乏力度。
