剧情简介 《走向远方》是2004年的一部喜剧片。由Mark Griffiths执导，Christopher Jacot、Joanne Kelly、Shawn Roberts等联袂主演。走向远方，又名Going the Distance、去远方。He may have just graduated but Nick (Christopher Jacot) has it all figured out - marriage, a lucrative career and a totally different lifestyle from that of his Westcoast hippy parents. When he discovers that his future wife may be falling prey to a powerful and over×××ed music producer, Nick is determined to fly to Toronto to win her back. Lifelong buds and dedicated surfers Tyler (Shawn Roberts) and Dime (Ryan Belleville) have other ideas for their staid best friend - the roadtrip adventure of his life. With only three days to make it to the MuchMusic Video Awards, the unlikely road warriors head off. Two ×××y hitchhikers, Sasha (Joanne Kelly) and Jill (Mayko Nguyen), complicate matters and a series of accidents, orchestrated by a malevolent stranger, sabotage the trip turning Nick's future plans upside down. 终于高中毕业了，Nick希望第一个自在的夏日能与他的好友和心爱的女孩Trish在温哥华岛西岸的托菲诺海滨度过。不过当Trish突然前往多伦多追寻自己的事业后，Nick意识到只有一个方法才能保住未来的妻子。那就是在Trish还未彻底落入肮脏的老板手中前，赶到多伦多，把她抢回来。放弃飞行，Nick的好友Tyler和Dime随行。乘着旅行车，沿着温哥华到多伦多的风景路线出发。路上捡上两个可爱的搭车MM后，Nick穿越国家的寻爱之旅便充满趣事。
