It's a tribute to those political leaders who have somehow managed to take a long-term vision and use it for short-term gain. The eight-part series follows the working lives of a tight-knit team in charge of guiding big building schemes from announcement to unveiling. Constant shifts in priorities are the order of the day as the staff are asked to come up with plans for everything from new roads and rail lines to airports and high rise urban developments. In short, Utopia examines the forces that go into creating a very well-designed white elephant.

闪电泡芙 说：之前看澳洲的讽刺喜剧都是YouTube上一些创作者的skits以及Chris Lilley系列。感觉讲述澳洲中产阶级喜剧有些点是很相似的，比如camera work, 合事宜的zoom in以及配乐, 还有人物被用来嘲讽的点。角色的矛盾点总是抓的很好然后不断输出有设计感的小joke小巧思，也许不会让人大笑，但是会嘻嘻两下然后hey that’s kinda smart。看多了会觉得重复率有点高，毕竟澳洲社会矛盾也就那么多？
Philip 说：印象里就是从头笑到尾，太能体会那种办公室里面各种工作的低效率了好吗，把政府办事讽刺的淋漓尽致，他们这个National Building Authority 感觉从头到尾什么project都没做完过哈哈哈哈哈哈
grey 说：还行 mildly有点英国喜剧那味 不过套路稍微有点重复
